In 1985, WAEC purchased the design and manufacturing rights for the CR7092C and CR2000 motor control centers from Canadian General Electric (CGE). We continue to manufacture and supply renewal parts, plug-in-units and complete add-on or stand alone sections for MCCs installed by CGE prior to and by WAEC since 1985.

Simply put – Factory Original
Since we purchased the complete motor control center business from CGE we are pleased to inform you that all products produced by WAEC are equivalent to factory original. There is no guess work involved. Each part conforms to original factory specifications and will install quickly and easily into the equipment.
Replacement units & parts for the CR7092C and CR2000 employ modern starters, disconnects, and breakers. Every MCC unit is custom-built to satisfy your specifications. Our MCC’s are very cost effective and we provide quick service when you need to upgrade.
WAEC also manufactures the CR9440 magnetector line of proximity switches. These magnetic switches are ideal for those locations either too harsh or dirty for normal sensors. The CR9440 sensor can sense distances of .5″ to 5″. These sensors are CSA approved for Class 1 Groups C&D and Class II Groups F&G hazardous locations.
